The Trump family and its allies are interested in the crypto industry’s excitement in the Bitcoin Gulf rally

NEW YORK, Several key players in President-elect Donald Trump’s new cryptocurrency venture will head to Abu Dhabi on Monday for the largest bitcoin gathering in the Gulf region as the digital currency sets record highs.
Speakers include the president-elect’s son Eric and billionaire Steve Witkoff, the new White House envoy for the Middle East and co-founder of World Liberty Financial, a crypto platform launched in September that Donald Trump and his family helped form.
Eric Trump will deliver Tuesday’s keynote address at the Bitcoin MENA conference, which is projected to draw more than 6,000 people, and will then hold a “whale-only” chat in the conference’s VIP lounge, according to the event’s agenda.
Witkoff will also speak separately to that more exclusive crowd, which requires a $9,999 “whale” pass, a nickname for large players who have the potential to move a market.
The president-elect is World Liberty Financial’s chief crypto advocate, and sons Eric, Don Jr., and Barron are ambassadors, according to the WLF website. Company filings show Donald Trump is entitled to 22.5 billion WLF tokens and a share of its revenues.
“The Bitcoin conference carries a lot of significance for crypto as it’s one of the longest-running conferences focused on bringing our industry together,” said Marshall Beard, chief operating officer of Gemini, the crypto exchange founded by Trump backers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss.
“It’s been incredible to see the rise of bitcoin alongside the growth of the conference … and crypto became a major campaign issue in this year’s presidential election.”
Other speakers also have close ties to World Liberty Financial, including Justin Sun, the 32-year-old Chinese founder of the blockchain platform Tron.
Three weeks after Trump won the Nov. 5 election, Sun posted on X that he bought $30 million worth of WLF tokens, making him the venture’s largest investor. Sun was charged with crypto-related fraud and securities violations under the Biden administration.
The Gulf gathering is occurring at an inflection point for the industry as Trump, once a crypto skeptic, has vowed he will be the “crypto president” and make America the new “crypto capital of the planet.”
Buoyed by these promises, bitcoin smashed records last week when it hit $100,000.
Trump also named a White House czar for artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies, former PayPal executive David Sacks, a close friend of Trump adviser and megadonor Elon Musk.
Musk, whose companies include X, SpaceX, and Tesla, spent more than a quarter of a billion dollars to help elect Trump in 2024, records show. According to analytics firm Breadcrumbs, other technology and digital asset veterans also gave millions to candidates who were friendly to the industry.
Trump’s 2016 campaign manager, Paul Manafort, will address the conference on “A Life of Politics with the Man Closest to Donald Trump.”
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, who served a four-month U.S. prison sentence this year for crypto-tied money-laundering law violations, will also hold a whale session at the conference.
Trump, his family members, other speakers, and their firms did not respond to requests for comment.

I swapped my AirPods Pro 2 with OnePlus Nord Buds 3 for a week

Before I begin, I should admit that my AirPods Pro 2 (2022) is consistent throughout my regular chores. Be it heading to work, catching the metro, actually lazing inside the backseat on a long power, or maybe getting concerned in a few deep paintings. The motives I cherished for the AirPods Pro 2 include outstanding easy audio, bass, and high-quality energetic noise cancellation (ANS).

There is nothing that may separate me from the AirPods. But something was modified lately when I was given the brand new OnePlus Nord Buds three. As we recognize, over time, OnePlus has made a call for itself by presenting feature-rich gadgets at competitive expenses.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 carries ahead this way of life and sticks out in the overcrowded proper wi-fi stereo (TWS) space. The Nord Buds 3, I feel, is ideal for tech-savvy experts who are trying to find premium audio without burning the hollow of their wallets. I must say, on the charge point, those earbuds come with some first-rate functions that you normally see on high-end TWS earbuds. It’s all about the bass!

The new Nord Buds three comes with a 12.4mm greater-massive driving force featuring a titanised diaphragm. This detailing in its hardware combined with its BassWave 2.0 technology offers a valid profile that offers a punchy bass without compromising on the highs and the mids. From Stop Snitching through YG to Ranjish Hello Sahi by Ali Sethi, the Nord Buds 3 offers crisp highs and a nicely balanced usual sound. I especially loved taking note of podcasts, in which the audio felt toward existence rather than overprocessed.

It’s all about the bass!

For bass heads like myself, the proprietary BassWave 2.0 can be activated for an even more low-end boost. I watched the film adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale – a dark horror show with some intense moments and a dark background. Nord Buds 3 enhanced the high moments with their dynamic bass, I felt a chilling excitement. The Sound Master EQ comes with three presets – Balanced, Serenade, and Bass. Again, there’s Game Mode for high-octane gaming and Dual Connection, which lets you connect two devices at once. Active noise cancellation for little money For me, active noise cancellation has to be the main feature.

Nord Buds 3 offers up to 32dB noise reduction and impressive isolation, which has become the basis of its expensive counterparts. For testing, you can turn the volume down to zero and toggle between noise controls. Along with the ANC mode, the transparency mode allows users to monitor their surroundings when needed. However, this feature may not be great for outdoor activities where situational awareness is vital.

Active Noise Cancellation on a budget

Nord Buds 3 comes with a dual microphone system that is backed by an AI-based algorithm for call intelligibility. OnePlus claims this feature is designed to deliver accurate voice by reducing background noise. I found it worked well enough for calls on busy streets. I found the battery life to be one of the strongest USPs of the Nord Bud 3.

The company claims that the TWS offers 12 hours of continuous playback on a single charge with ANC turned off. Including the charging case, it extends to an impressive 43 hours. With ANC you can still expect around eight hours from the buds themselves and up to 32 hours with the case. With a quick 10-minute charge, the device offers up to 11 hours of playback, which will work well for me with OTT bingers.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 punch above their weight. I’m aware that audiophiles can still reach for their higher-end options, but the Nord Buds 3 is a great combination of performance and affordability. Coupled with strong battery life, fast charging, and great sound, this could be an attractive choice for anyone who prefers quality over quantity.

While there are some stark contrasts between the AirPods Pro 2 and the OnePlus Nord Buds 3, the intent here isn’t to draw parallels but to see how I’d feel deprived of my everyday controller. In my experience, the Nord Buds 3 are a great choice for decent sound and ANC. Although it lacks some of the high-end features seen on the AirPods Pro 2, the Nord Buds can be a solid choice for those looking for great performance for everyday use.

Samsung Galaxy S23 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC expected to launch in February 2023

Samsung will reportedly launch its next-generation Galaxy S23 series in February 2023. According to the South Korean newspaper Korea JoongAng Daily, the smartphone series will be launched at the Samsung Unpacked 2023 event in the United States, although the exact launch date and time remain unclear at this time.

Earlier reports said that the Galaxy S23 series will be unveiled at CES 2023 on January 5 in Las Vegas. The South Korean daily claims that Samsung’s new smartphones – likely to be – the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra would be more expensive than the S22 or S21 due to “inflationary pressure”.

Samsung has yet to confirm the launch of the new smartphones, although the rumor fits the company’s launch schedule. For the past few years, Samsung has introduced new Galaxy S phones at the beginning of the year.

Throughout the year, the company introduces new tablets, then laptops, and finally foldable phones (formerly the Note series smartphones). In early 2022, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S22 in February.

Official specifications also remain unclear, though the new lineup could feature Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset for mobile devices – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The new chipset can unlock features like 200-megapixel camera support, Wi-Fi 7, and a new 5G modem.

The report states that the debut of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will be “released at a challenging time”. Demand for smartphones is weak due to macroeconomic conditions.

According to an analyst at Hana Securities, global smartphone sales fell 11 percent year-on-year in Q3 2022. Samsung Electronics phone sales fell 11 percent last month, but Apple’s sales rose 10 percent as the iPhone 14 proved popular.

The Galaxy S22 was launched at a starting price of Rs 72,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB model. If the price hike speculations are accurate, the Galaxy S23 could be priced above Rs 73,000 in India.

BTC, ETH Trade(cryptocurrencies) Lowly With Losses, Stablecoins Record Profits Close to November End

More cryptocurrencies saw losses than gains as the turbulent month of November 2022 drew to a close. Bitcoin opened with a loss of 2.37 percent on Monday, November 28. BTC is trading at $16,111 (roughly Rs. 13K) at the time of writing. This is the second week in a row that the oldest cryptocurrency has failed to break this price point. On international exchanges such as Binance and Coinbase, BTC faced small losses and traded at a similar price.

Ether followed Bitcoin on a losing streak. ETH is trading at $1,163 (roughly Rs. 95,150), according to cryptocurrency price tracker Gadgets 360, after recording a loss of four percent.

Binance Coin, Cardano, Polygon, Polkadot, and Litecoin also saw losses.

Interestingly, the competing meme coins Shiba Inu and Dogecoin found themselves on different sides of the crypto charts today.

While Shiba Inu posted a 2.22 percent loss to trade at $0.0000089 (roughly Rs.0.000730), dogecoin gained 5.56 percent to hover around the $0.095 (roughly Rs.7.78) price point.

US dollar-pegged stablecoins including Tether, USD Coin, and Binance USD joined DOGE in tracking gains.

SushiSwap, Braintrust, Dogefi, and Bitcoin Hedge also saw price increases.

“The rise in demand may help the bulls gain more strength to break the current level. The broader crypto market came under intense selling pressure last week as Genesis struggled with liquidity,” Edul Patel, CEO, and co-founder of Mudrex told Gadgets 360.

The global crypto market’s valuation has fallen by 2.47 percent in the last 24 hours and currently stands at $819.58 billion (roughly Rs. 67,02,464 crore), according to CoinMarketCap.

The month of November was full of ups and downs for the crypto market. Crypto exchange FTX collapsed due to a lack of liquidity and filed for bankruptcy earlier this month.

In the market moves that followed, over $200 billion (roughly Rs. 16,30,024 crore) was wiped off the market.

Amid the ongoing market slump, the list of crypto firms resorting to downsizing their workforce is getting longer.

Just last week, Lemon Cash, an Argentinian crypto exchange, laid off 38 percent of the crypto exchange’s workforce, employing about a hundred workers in an effort to keep its business afloat.

OnePlus 11, Oppo Find N2 Tipped to Feature Same 50-Megapixel Triple Rear Camera Setup

The OnePlus 11 is believed to be in the works and could arrive as a successor to the OnePlus 10 Pro in China by the end of this year. Meanwhile, Oppo is said to be working on its next foldable flagship smartphone – the Oppo Find N2 – which could also debut around the same time in China. A reliable tipster has now hinted that the two smartphones will boast the same camera configuration. They are expected to have a 50-megapixel triple rear camera.

According to a post by tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 11 and Oppo Find N2 may feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.

The tipster further claims that Oppo’s Find N2 foldable phone may come with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), while it is not certain whether OnePlus will offer the same on the OnePlus 11. The two companies are yet to delve into the details regarding these smartphones.

Alleged specifications of the Oppo Find N2 recently surfaced via leaked screenshots of a test unit. The foldable smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The Oppo foldable may feature a MariSilicon X imaging Neural Processing Unit (NPU). Its display is likely to offer a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 11 has been tipped to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that is said to offer 2K resolution. Under the hood, this smartphone could pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

Rumors suggest that it could arrive in two configurations – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 16GB RAM + 256GB storage. This OnePlus phone is also likely to get a 5,000mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging.

Home Mobiles Mobiles News Google Pixel 7a Tipped To Feature Flagship Camera Sensors, Wireless Charging: Report Google Pixel 7a Tipped To Feature Flagship Camera Sensors, Wireless Charging

The Pixel 7a is Google’s mid-range addition to the Pixel 7 series, due for release in 2023, with an affordable ‘A’ tag and a significant upgrade over all previous Pixel A-series phones.

The Pixel 7a is said to be apparently It will come with features like a better camera and wireless charging. Google’s first Pixel A series, the Pixel 3a, launched with the premise of bringing the flagship Pixel experience to affordable devices made possible by the search giant’s use of inexpensive materials. However, with each new A-series launch, the company has narrowed the gap between the specs, quality, and experience of its flagship.

This strategy is reflected in the Pixel 4a 5G, which Google released alongside the Pixel 5, and both phones use the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. The Pixel 4a 5G also had a display that supported a 90Hz refresh rate, water resistance, a premium metal body, and wireless charging, putting the phone in a category where such features are not commonly seen.

The Pixel 5a also managed to keep the retail price low while sporting a water-resistant body and metal exterior. Most importantly, both the Pixel 4a and Pixel 5a had the same main camera sensor as their flagships.

However, the Pixel 6a doesn’t have the same camera sensor as the Pixel 6, and the search giant opted to keep the Pixel 5a’s camera sensor.

Google’s commitment to the Pixel 7a was first confirmed with a public conversation about Android’s open-source code. This suggests that the device, codenamed “Lynx,” will become the Pixel 7a, which is slated to launch in 2023.

Earlier this year, whistleblower digital chat station Weibo shared details about a Pixel device made by China’s Foxconn that uses the same Tensor G2 chip as the Pixel 7 series and has a ceramic body. 9to5google reports that the device is now the Pixel 7a. If true, the Pixel 7a will be Google’s first phone in the Pixel lineup to feature a ceramic body.

Meanwhile, according to Android researcher Kuba Wojciechowski, the Lynx Pixel 7a will have the P9222 chip for wireless charging. However, the chip is only capable of 5W charging, so it’s possible that the Pixel 7a’s wireless charging feature is more hype than practicality.

When it comes to image capture and processing, the Pixel 7a could feature the same 50-megapixel Samsung sensor as the Pixel 6 series, plus a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.

This is the first time a telephoto sensor is coming to the Pixel A series. In fact, only the high-end Pixel Pro models have so far had a telephoto sensor.

However, Google has remained silent and has not revealed any information about the alleged Pixel 7a model in terms of name, design, specifications, price, or launch details.

Pinterest Posts Slowest Quarterly Growth in Nearly 2 Years, as Inflation Curbs Advertiser Spending

Pinterest plunged into the red after declining quarterly revenue growth for the first time in nearly two years. Modern social media platforms have fallen victim to reduced advertising spending by businesses worried about the bleak economic outlook.

Decades of high inflation have forced companies to slash marketing budgets this year, as online players like Alphabet, Meta, and Snap compete fiercely to cut ad spending.

Pinterest’s third-quarter revenue rose 8 percent to $684.6 million (roughly Rs. 560 billion), underscoring the growth of its larger rivals. However, this was higher than analysts’ expectations of $666.71 million (about Rs 5.5 billion), according to Refinitiv data.

The resurgence of outdoor activities also means that fewer people are turning to image-sharing platforms for inspiration for activities such as home renovations and recipe-based cooking. Pinterest’s global monthly active users (MAU) remained flat at 445 million but beat FactSet’s estimate of 437.4 million.

Earlier this month, Pinterest shares fell, along with YouTube parent Alphabet, Facebook parent Meta, and Twitter. After Snap, the owners of the photo messaging app Snapchat predicted zero sales growth this quarter. The announcement sent other social media stocks that rely on advertising revenue down.

The company posted revenue of $65.2 million (roughly Rs. 500 crores), or $0.10 per share (roughly Rs. 800 crores), for the quarter that ended September 30, while profit was $94 million (roughly Rs. 800 crores). Net loss from $0.14 (roughly Rs. 12) per share a year ago.

Pinterest’s global average revenue per user rose 11% to $1.56 (roughly Rs. 130). Pinterest said it expects sales growth to be in the single digits for the quarter, driven by slightly higher currency headwinds than in the third quarter.

Telecom minister confirms affordable 5G services will roll out in India by October 12

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that high-speed 5G services will be available in most parts of the country in two to three years, adding that a steady rollout of the network in major circles is expected by October 12. Earlier, the government said that 5G connectivity will be launched in the country by September 29. Airtel, on the other hand, promised its availability this month.

News agency PTI, quoting the minister at a press conference, says that India offers one of the most affordable mobile tariffs in the world and the trend will continue with 5G services. “We expect an investment of around Rs 2.5 to 3 lakh crore to come into the industry. Rs 3 lakh crore is a big investment. This also leads to good employment generation. Our estimate is that 5G will reach almost all parts of the country in the next 2 -3 years,” the news agency said, referring to the Vaishnaw minister.

The DoT had earlier announced that high-speed 5G internet would be rolled out in 13 major Indian cities of Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune.

In the latest press conference, the union minister further talked about the new Right of Way (RoW) rules which basically clarify the charges for cable laying, access to public poles, and more. The new rules offer relief to private firms when it comes to getting approval to set up infrastructure. Minister Vaishnaw: “Earlier it took 343 days to approve RoW, which has come down to 22 days. Last July, the average was even better, which was 16 days. This is a clear impact of the reforms made by the Prime Minister.” ”

The government believes the amended lineup will pave the way for companies to offer affordable 5G services in the country. Vaishnaw added that investments worth up to Rs 60,000 crore have already been made in India’s 5G-related telecom sector.

Clarification is currently awaited from the major telecommunications companies. As mentioned earlier, Airtel said its 5G services will start rolling out this month but may extend the target to next month. Jio has also hinted at an early rollout, but more details are awaited. Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) has yet to announce a date.
